Cookie 48
Hello everyone! I guess it is time to buckle up for this time @Cookie is going to be doing a very long article, at least by my own standard. So I decided to write a more serious article today where I will be trying to answer a couple of questions. 1. What are my thoughts on the upcoming S99? Answer: To be honest I have no idea what to really Think about the upcoming Season 99, I know That D.C. Dragons is very competitive this year, but alas this is also the very first time my player, Tom Dufour gets to play in an actual strong team with a lot of strong teammates against more weaker teams. I do feel good, and it would feel Amazing if we can make it to Play off so I can feel proud of Tom Dufour getting a chance to fight in the Playoffs in all Leagues, as so far D.C. Dragons has not had That luck in all the seasons I have been a part of it, and honestly I do not regret becoming part of D.C. Dragons as I have met some nice people there and all of them have been helpful and kind in their interactions with me. 2. Which expectations do I have for the Season? Answer: I would expect for Tom Dufour to be playing as consistently as he has mostly been in through Out his career, I do not Think That he will make it on the top lists, nor become a top player, considering the lower amount of TPE That he got, and honestly I should have been a lot more Active than I have been, which has lead to Dufour to be stuck at a much lower TPE than what he should have had. To be quite blunt, I am very surprised That Tom Dufour managed to Hoover around 70 Points done and having 4 seasons with 30 or more goals, as well as 30 or more assists, despite him being under 600 TPE during all the 5 seasons. 3. What goals do I have for the last Season? Answer: My overall goal is to continue to be as consistent as I have been, but at the same time I want to go all in this coming Season, While I would be extactic if I would break the 40 goal mark for the first time, I am not going to delude myself to Think That I would be able to do That. Furthermore, I would like for Tom Dufour to be able to help the team to not only get into the Playoff but also win it all, and I do feel quite honoured to know That I have had the chance to play with a stellar Rookie like Albin Aldgard @animal74 as he just recently made it to the VHL. 4. With a total of 9 Seasons, 2 in VHLM, 2 in VHLE and 5 in VHL, what was my overall experience and opinions? Answer: The honest experience has been a bit mixed for me, and I would like to start with the bad parts, then end this question with the good parts. So, as Someone who joined on the 2nd of September of 2023, I found it very confusing and overwhelming, and frankly, I still feel overwhelmed when trying to find all the information needed for the Trivias, as an example. I have often found That I just gets too distracted and bored When trying to look for the answers and end up just trying to guess the answers, and While That is mostly due to myself I also cannot help but wanting to criticise how difficult it is for a newer person to find most information, especially When some people tell you to use an article That was made by Another member a long time ago. Another, I do not like to call it a bad experience but rather unfortunate/annoying was the fact That Tom Dufour Started his career quite nicely in Mexico City Kings back in Season 90, however not knowing better I had joined one of the weaker teams for the Season, and for Season 91 I ended up joining the Mississauga Hounds While they were at their weakest line up, which did sting a bit, however Dufour did manage to score my higest goal Season with 36 goals. But then in Season 92 I Went up to the VHLE and ended up with Västerås, which once Again had their weakest lineup and would be one of the weaker teams during the 2 seasons I were in there, and as a real kicker had to be That I were supposed to be joining Bratslava Until they traded me to Västerås, so I had to Watch Bratislava having an insanely good Season, and after a weak 2nd Season for Västerås I once Again moved up to D.C. Dragons, Which ironically were also at their weakest lineup and have been trying to rebuild themselves for the past 5 seasons, being one of the weaker teams, which felt quite disheartening. So, what are the good parts? Well, first off, I met some Amazing people during my time, in Mexico, Mississauga, Västerås, D.C. Dragons and even Bratislava. And the feeling to read those articles when I was mentioned, which I did not expect, like when I read I was considered a big contender for the Top Rookie Award, even though I did not get it, which did sting (Cause I lost once Again haha) I did however feel very good and happy to hear That I was even being considered for such an Award. Looking back at Tom Dufours total career, I have started to appreciate and started to smile to see how consistent he has been, From the start, S90 where I only got to play 43 games but still hitting 39 Points, then S91 I got to play 72 games with a total Points of 70, followed by S92 where I had 72 games played, and 76 Points followed by a horrible Season with only 54 Points from 72 games to then start off the S94 VHL career with a bang, 72 games played with 30 goals and 40 assists for a total of 70 Points, then the S95 doing a bit better with 71 total Points, followed by the worst Season of only 47 Points in Season 96, but to then in S97 have my strongest Season of 79 Points followed by the last Season, S98 where I ended with 67 Points. And looking back at it, 5 / 9 of my seasons I have had 30 goals or more, which feels unbelievably stellar, I just cannot stop smiling. Another thing I really liked has been talking with my teammembers and getting some advice from them, even though I wish I had been more active. I did struggle to figure out what to write, but then @animal74 did gave me some suggestions which led to this enormous article by me. 5. After Tom Dufour retires, what am I going to do? Answer: Now this is a question I have been thinking of for a While and I just do not know right now, I mean I would love to jump back in and create a new character but I am not sure if I would be able to keep myself engaged and Active enough to do so, however I am sure That I will Always remember, and even miss being able to compete for those goals, assists and wins. So I guess for this question, I just do not yet know what the answer would be, sadly. BUT! What if I were to "sponsor" a new player? I Think I would Either want to make Another Foward, I mean being able to score lots of goals has Always felt nice, and I did hamper myself at the begining trying to create an hybrid Offense/Defense player, which I should not have done for my first time. Though the idea of creating a Defensive player That can hold the line and prevent a lot of goals from the opposing team does sound real nice, and While I do like the idea of making a goal keeper I just Don't Think I have what it takes right now to make an actual good goalkeeper That would be able to help my team win some matches. While Tom Dufour has not been a top player by all means I do feel very proud of being the one who "Sponsored" (Or created) him, and to have watched his journey has been... phenomenal to say the least. I would like to end this article with something happier and more lightweight. After first hearing of the idea that one of Tom Dufour's teammates been playing with a pyjamas under all their gear, he decided to follow suite with this, what should be a trend, being able to just remove all your gear and just fall into the bed ready to sleep is such a wonderous feeling, especially after spending so much time eating pizzas, Err I mean practicing for the next match. But for now? I hope you have an AMAZING next season, and that the rest of this year will be filled with joy and excitements, and lots of tasty foods.
