TheLastOlympian07 2,388 Posted December 26, 2014 Share Posted December 26, 2014 the real reason Dimothenis Vlasis has been out of shorts lately and hasn't been practicing is because early in the year say September he caught the Ebola virus. It was a real big blow to the Cologne Express as they needed all hands on deck for their playoffs run. Vlasis was somehow able to play games but he never showed up to practice. Then shortly after being cleared to play he was traded to New York where he was seen out partying with Derrick Brassard. Naturally he thought nothing of it because well there is nothing to worry about but little did we know that Brassard had the mumps virus so Vlasis was out again with a illness. He is certainly feeling better now a days as he will be back practicing weekly with the New York Americans.
