As the season comes to an end the Toronto Legion have made one last effort to get Devin Sundberg signed with seemingly no luck. Legion GM Tyler Edgar went to Vasteras, Sweden to visit Sundberg at his off-season home hoping to lock up the Legion star. The two spent a couple hours together before Edgar headed back to Toronto without a contract for Sundberg. It has been reported that Edgar went with a 3 season deal worth 12 million dollars with performance bonus but Devin is set on getting offers from other teams. Sundberg has been set on hitting the open market since the regular season ended and has said on record that he isn't going to turn his back on Toronto but will want to see the plans and offers that other VHL franchises have. Last week Sundberg's team rankings were released and shockingly had his current team ranked 5th, while teams like Seattle and Stockholm were on top of the list. With still a week to 10 days away from free agency there is still a lot of time for Toronto to make another offer but doesn't sound like it will come. All eyes will be on Sundberg in the coming days.
