For text, try to stick to simple fonts...Arial, Helvetica, Times New Roman etc. Use different techniques on top to make them look cool. For stocks, try to stick to a colour theme that suits your render, or use Adjustment Layers to change the whole colour scheme. Finally, make sure your render looks sharp and in focus. I think better blending would be key to fixing this piece, and adding a better font would make it even better. Keep on working on it, you'll get there.
