gorlab 4,321 Posted April 30, 2015 Share Posted April 30, 2015 After entering the VHL in S41 as a member of league powerhouse New York Americans, where he would win his first Continental Cup, Jody 3 Moons has opened a new chapter of his career after he was involved in the biggest off-season trade prior to S43. The Americans, with an aging core, decided to look to the future and held a fire sale of their top superstars. The blockbuster trade saw VHL legend Tom Slaughter, VHL legend Brick Wahl, and VHL legend Jody 3 Moons leave the big apple and head overseas to Stockholm, Sweden where they joined the recently re-branded Stockholm Vikings. The acquisition of these three superstars ensured Stockholm would become Continental Cup favourites overnight. At his debut press conference with the Vikings organization, 3 Moons had some choice words when asked about the level of competition in Europe: "I spent the first two seasons of my career playing in the strongest conference, and it looks like that trend will continue for my third season and beyond. However, I have no doubts that Stockholm will dominate Europe this season and put pretenders like Cologne and Helsinki in their place. I know that if it had been New York who reached the S42 cup finals, we would have wiped the floor with Cologne. Now with Tom, Brick, and Myself playing in their conference, I intend to take their European crown, along with the head it sat upon. I'm sorry that my friend and former teammate Christoph Klose will be suiting up for them this season, but I am more than ready to show him that a centre such as myself does not come along every day. I feel like it will be a tough season for him and his teammates while it will be a fantastic season for my team. Oskars Harumpf is a player I respect immensely, and look back upon our time together in the VHLm with fond memories, but he and his Helsinki Titans are also a team I am looking to impose my will on. Let's just say I have circled every game on the schedule where I will be lining up against my old friends Harumpf and Klose. I will be ready, I hope they will be as well."
