Tim TebowGow Biography

 

 

Childhood

 

On August 14^th, 1987, a legend was born amidst salt and smoke. Some called him the savior, others called him mean names, and everyone else called him Tim Tebow. Young Tebow did not yet have Gow added to his last name, as it’s rumored that his parents wanted to keep his relation to the Gow family a secret due to their heavy involvement in American secret services. While many people believe TebowGow was born in America, he was actually secretly born in Oslo while his father was on a secret service mission. Because he was born in Oslo but his parents were also American citizens, TebowGow received the honor of being a citizen of both Norway and the U.S.

 

Even though Tim was born in Oslo, he spent most of his life in Philadelphia being raised by his two parents, Jaime and Austin TebowGow. Most of TebowGow’s childhood was spent playing football, as he led the Philadelphia Quakers to an undefeated record as the team’s quarterback and linebacker. However, in his spare time, TebowGow also enjoyed playing hockey, and played on a rec league team, the Philadelphia Wranglers. Many local hockey coaches tried to recruit TebowGow to their travel teams due to his amazing athleticism, but his number one interest always seemed to be football.

 

High School/College

 

TebowGow continued to excel at the sport of football, and he also continued to play hockey as his second favorite side sport. While he is famous for being his high school’s star quarterback, TebowGow also put up absurd numbers for his school’s hockey team. TebowGow became the Philadelphia Quakers’ first line center on the first day of freshman year, as he was an advanced physical specimen for his young age. In his first high school hockey season, TebowGow led his team with 32 points in 25 games, which was quite the impressive feat for a freshman. Unfortunately, TebowGow broke his leg in the last game of the season, and had to miss his entire sophomore football season. TebowGow’s coaches were not happy with his hockey injury, and told him he had to pick one sport or the other. Being the football junky he was, Tim decided to give up his second love and become a full-time football player.

 

On the surface, it would appear that TebowGow’s decision to become a full-time football player was the right one. He starred at quarterback for the Florida Gators, and became a household name around the country. In 2008, Tebow led Florida to a 13–1 record and its second national championship in three years, and was named the offensive MVP of the national championship game. At the conclusion of TebowGow’s college career, he held the Southeastern Conference's all-time records in both career passing efficiency and total rushing touchdowns, appearing second and tenth (respectively) in the NCAA record book in these categories.

 

 

Professional Career

 

Tim TebowGow was drafted in the first round of the NFL draft by the Denver Broncos. To make a long story short, TebowGow did not put up very good quarterback stats, but always found absurd ways to win in the 4^th quarter (a trait he took into the 3^rd periods of his hockey career). After short stints with the Jets and Patriots, team ran out of teams looking for his services, and it appeared that his football career was over.

 

TebowGow was very disappointed his football career was over, but still had his second love to turn to in hockey. Even though he hadn’t played hockey since his freshman year of high school, many semi-pro hockey teams still wanted to sign him due to his athletic prowess and celebrity story. However, TebowGow wanted to make his hockey playing career a secret in case he ever played football again, and this is when he finally graduated his last name from Tebow to TebowGow in hopes that no one would notice the change.

 

In order to escape the American media, TebowGow signed with a semi-pro team in Quebec City named the Quebec City Keslers. TebowGow instantly became the best player on Quebec City, as it was well known in the league that Quebec City always had the worst players. In his 35 games with the Kesler, TebowGow netted 35 goals and 35 assists, making him the league’s leading scorer and MVP.

 

VHL Career

 

TebowGow’s semi-pro career did not go unnoticed, as many teams tried to claim him off of waivers in the VHLM. In Season 42, the Minot Gladiators claimed TebowGow for the final 26 games of the regular season. In those 26 games, TebowGow netted 8 goals and 20 assists while centering the team’s second line. Unfortunately for TebowGow, the Gladiators lost to the Brampton Blades in the second round of the VHLM playoffs.

Due to his excellent play in Season 42, TebowGow was selected by the Bern Royals with the third overall pick of the Season 43 VHLM Dispersal Draft. TebowGow more than lived up to being a first round pick, as he led both the Royals and the entire league in points with 69 goals and 116 assists in 72 games. TebowGow continued his torrid pace into the playoffs, as he led the Royals to a Founder’s Cup Victory. At the end of the season, TebowGow was awarded the MVP trophy and highest points trophy for his efforts.

 

Had TebowGow been a draft prospect, there is no doubt he would have been a high draft pick in the Season 44 VHL draft. However, because TebowGow stems from the Eaglesfan player agency, he automatically joined the Calgary Wranglers via the GM rule. This season, TebowGow has been a mainstay on the Wranglers second line, where he has centered Marcus Hurley and whatever other wingers they put next to him. In 49 games so far this season, TebowGow has 9 goals and 28 assists, which puts him at under a point per game for the first time in his career. TebowGow hopes to help the Wranglers to a cup victory this season, and also become a key cog of the team for seasons to come.
