Here Comes Parech

As one player from the DollarAndADream agency is playing in his final VHL games, there is another who is on the verge of making a name for himself, starting in the VHL Minors. Travis Boychuk has had a great career, and is known throughout the league as a humble man, and the agency seems to have picked another player which brings forth leadership, respect, and dedication to hockey.

Zach Parechkin is next up on the players to be contract to this agency, and the DollarAndADream organization are hoping that Zach is more successful than Travis. While Travis has played on very successful teams, none of them have won the Continental Cup. His Quebec City Meute have come close as a finalist, losing to the Cologne Express, however. Boychuk throughout most of his career was always a second choice though. Besides in his Calgary days, Travis Boychuk was a second line player, although one might argue that he had what it takes to be on another team's first line, as Quebec City has a strong core.

This comes into question the player that is Zach Parechkin. What the DollarAndADream agency are hoping to find in this player is a future first line stud who can produce night in and night out on the score sheet. They are willing to bet that he will have more success than Travis Boychuk ever had, and hopefully that will happen. What Parechkin needs to do is find the right team, and one that can utilize his abilities to their best potential. Possibly, if Parechkin can find a playmaker-type player, maybe similar to Aksel Thomassen, then he will have a ton of success. Thomassen has become the perfect linemate for a sniper like Bruno Wolf, and they dominated the league for multiple seasons. Zach Parechkin has the skill that it takes to become a prolific sniper in the VHL.

To start off his career, Zach was recently claimed off of waivers by the Brampton Blades. Although only having played 4 games, he has scored 3 goals and 2 assists in that span. The more impressive stat is that those 5 points have come in 2 games, since his first 2 games with the Blades he did not record a point. He got the milestone of scoring a hat trick in the VHLM out of the way very early in his career, as he did it in the first period against the Ottawa Lynx in only his third career game.

What Parechkin himself wants the most is championships. The Brampton Blades are not exactly the perfect team to win a cup in the VHLM, but with a few upsets here and there they definitely have the personnel to do so. What they are lacking is goaltending, and this season in the VHLM there are some strong contenders for future VHL stars. One might have to bet that one of those goaltenders will be the one to raise the cup at season's end, and not Zach Parechkin.

Although championships are what he wants, this is not to be taken out of context. Zach is fully willing to play for any team that calls upon him, whether it be a contender or a rebuilder. Parechkin has always been a good sport for the ups and downs of hockey.

Content: 3/3 - To bad I didn't have high enough priority to claim you. Good luck with your new player. Your new player is going to be a stud in the VHLM next season and in the VHL the season after that :)

Grammar: 2/2 - I didn't catch anything.

Appearance: 1/1 - Yup, looks nice.

Overall: 6/6
