Manhattan, NY -- After missing the post-season last season the Americans made the post-season this season with a 36-32-4 record. It’s not surprising that the Americans find themselves here as the other teams in the conferences were heading into rebuilds. There aren’t many that are expecting the Americans to pull of the unthinkable, which would be making it far in the post-season with the roster that they have. Americans defender, Golden Jedtsson’s expecting the team to do much more and so are the fans. Jedtsson finished the season with four goals and 35 points as the team’s number one defender he was expecting a little more, but he’s still satisfied with his numbers as a rookie. Jedtsson was frustrated with how many times he found himself sitting in the penalty box this season as he tallied 168 penalty minutes this season. However, he continued to be a defensive force as he finished the season with 234 hits and 146 shots blocked.
