stevo 792
World B. Free saves VHLM, Red Wolves in Glorious Effort It was just another day at the office, more like in the rink, for World B. Free, but as it is things often take a turn to the extreme when you don't expect them to. The German defenseman is relatively new to the pro sports. He has grown up in Cologne and started playing ice hockey in the junior teams of his hometown hockey club Kölner Haie. Both parties couldn't negotiate a contract after he turned 18 and Free turned his sight onto the VHLM. The VHL's minor league is an excellent way for aspiring hockey players to present themselves and possibly play themselves into the spotlight of the major league teams. World B. Free started his ways around the minor league with a stint with the Oslo Storm to finish off last year's regular season. This summer, the Moscow Red Wolves selected him with a first round pick in the yearly VHLM dispersal draft to place him alongside top prospect Arcturus Mengsk on their defensive first line. "Without a doubt, this is a heavy burden because I'm still adjusting to the way hockey is played in this league," Free said following his selection in the press conference. Moscow obviously has high hopes for the young German, who didn't fail to deliver shortly after. With the conservative-nationalistic course Russia's president Vladimir Vladimirovitch Putin is currently operating under to gather support for the next elections in the future coming up and the sanctions enforced by the European Union, it seemed to be just a matter of time until he would turn onto the Red Wolves to encourage them to transfer into the national Russian hockey league. When he did so, it was just around the time that World B. Free was finishing his workout in the rink. For bystanders, it must've been quite a sight to see the country's first man making his entrance on the back of a casual brown bear. Also, Putin had not put on a shirt as he had just returned from his summer residence in Siberia where he wrestles with his deadly bears in the polar ice water after breakfast. Probably his next vehicle?! With his commanding presence, it would've only been a matter of time until VHL commissioner Don Draper would've given in to this mammoth of a man. But fear not VHL (and VHLM), there was World B. Free to the rescue. Using all the skills he acquired during the long years of learning Kung Fu, he first knocked out the bear clean before Putin himself had to catch a fade for the ages after giving up only little defense. Soon after, the president had to retreat on his still lingering bear. This was the story of how World B. Free saved both the world how we know it, and the Moscow Red Wolves.
