A preview into HC Davos' off-season

DAVOS, SWITZERLAND -- While the Dynamo are still competing for a playoff spot, the front office has to have some sort of an eye toward the next off-season.  In dealing with their unfriendly cap situation prior to the season, the Dynamo have put themselves in decent position to avoid a rebuild next year, with a lot of talent returning.  However, there are risks to the plan -- both James Faraday and Oskars Harumpf are yet to sign extensions with HC Davos.  Further, current leading scorer Devin Sundberg is pondering an early retirement.  This would signal a significant blow to the Dynamo's potential for next season -- especially with such a competitive European Conference.

If the Dynamo lose all three players without any compensation, they could be in trouble.

"We'll take a look at that when the situation arises," head coach Jack Reilly said, "Right now, the goal is to put together a team that can make it to the playoffs."
