eaglesfan036 4,603 Posted January 4, 2016 Share Posted January 4, 2016 One of the most exciting free agency sprees is wrapping up, as Velevra is still deciding where to go (hopefully Calgary) and everyone else has already signed. Light, Koenig, O'Malley, and many other big names changed times in exciting movement, with the two main benefactors being New York and Riga. Unfortunately, Calgary did not net any of these big names, as for some reason most people think Calgary is not going anywhere. Luckily, my homeboy Hedgehog decided to sign with us, and his player will provide us with a solid cost-friendly second liner, and I am happy to have him. I don't mind having no one believe in us, as our one cup victory came in s44 when no one picked us, and then when everyone picked us to win in s45 we lost in the fern trees. I still have full confidence in our players to get the job done, and one advantage of not signing a bunch of big name free agents is I can have more depth and can trade for people at the deadline, and extra depth can beat star power.
