I think the face contrast looks good, so it would be cool to see the result without that layer. The glass distortion effect is nice, but could be blended with some other texture. Not too bad overall. The effects look kinda cool but everything is just buried in a cherry slushy and it feels off. You need to make sure your lighting and contrast is really on point to wash a sig out in a colour so that things don't just get weird which is what I think happened here.
