I think the overall sig is a little too sepia-y, and then with the splash of purple it's a little jarring. Nice work overall! The BG is a tad distracting and could benefit from a bit of blurring but it's not too bad. Lighting is okay but a little all over the place. I think the main faults in this are the colouring (it's very overdone as Jack mentioned) and the fact that there's a little of the piece that's oversharp (render especially) which, combined with the stocks, give it a noisy feel that doesn't really work.
