When initially entering into the VHLM, Sven Wolf was claimed by the Brampton Blades. While on the team, Watchmen GM Blake Campbell pursued the young goaltender to some extent as his team was missing that final piece to help them repeat at a championship. Although the price was steep (1st and 2nd for Wolf, Alset and a 3rd), the Watchmen landed their #1 goalie and Wolf was heading to a new city to play between the pipes. When approached about the deal, this is what Wolf had to say:

"I thank Brampton for the opportunity to play for them. During my time there, I went 8-6-0 with a 2.11 GAA. It's not bad but it was a much weaker team. I feel as though I'm fairly strong and prior to playoff time I will only continue to get stronger. Being traded to Bratislava is great in multiple ways. Firstly, it helps them out huge. They were missing a number one goalie yet were doing so well. Secondly, I go to a competing team that wishes to win a cup and that has fairly good odds at doing so. I'm very excited to be apart of the Watchmen organization".

Since joining the Watchmen, Campbell has posted a record of 6-1-1, a SV% of .898 and a GAA of 1.72.
