Putting the leather-bound tome on the desk in front of him, the man looked up at the camera. Sunlight filtered through the thin lace curtains behind his left shoulder, creating a soft, warm glow on the polished wood. The man was in his mid-20s by appearance, a small, well-kept goatee adorning a firm, sharp-angled jaw. He smiled, showing gleaming white teeth, though his eyes remained hard and cold, like ice-blue gemstones. He leaned toward the camera intently.

"When Owain Glyndŵr led his people in the Battle of Bryn Glas," the man began in a strong baritone voice, "he relied on intelligence and cunning to bring him victory against Edmund Mortimer. Mortimer knew that Glyndŵr's forces were smaller than his own, but did not anticipate the hammer-and-anvil flank that Glyndŵr brought against him. Glyndŵr thrived because of his razor insight and sharp mind, not because of a strong arm. He could see the battlefield in a way that Mortimer could not, and Mortimer was captured on that day."

The man paused, seeming to stare back across the centuries at a battlefield littered with corpses.

"Glyndŵr was the Prince of Wales, the last Welshman to hold that title," the man continued. "and although the bloodline is challenging to trace, I am his distant descendant. My name is Thomas Crypl, but you will know me by my battle-name. You will know me as Essian Ravenwing."

Really hoping this is the start of a media series. 100% about that, as well as any member that does a corresponding audio book that correctly pronounces the Welsh names.
