A Special Interview with Sergey Brovalenko

I am here for an interview with one of the VHL's most questionable players. This guy has been moved around quite a bit but he has enjoyed a pretty good career so far as I can tell. I am hoping that we can get some good valuable information out of him about how his career is going and other goals/aspirations. Also a nice throw in to his agent about his net player and if he has been doing scouting for his next player or if he will be retiring and getting out of the game.

(DT) 1. So far in Sergey Brovalenko's career, are you happy with what you have accomplished? Like awards, personal achievements and stats. Have you lived up to your expectations that you held before you first started playing?

(SB) 1.  I am very happy with how my career has gone so far, as I started out as a semi-active and really was confused by the league until I was drafted. I did not have expectations with Brovalenko at all as I wasnt too active so I didnt really care at the beginning of his career.

(DT) 2. Within the past 2 years, you have been traded from team to team. Do you believe that the change has affected Sergey in any possible way? Maybe like his play being brought down due to lack of chemistry or just not being able to settle into a place and really to call it home.

(SB) 2. I think bouncing around has had some affect on how well I have played. Since I left Quebec I havent had a good season, but overall I think it has been a combination of things such as line mates, chemistry etc.

(DT) 3. Are there currently any teams out there that you would like to play for in the future? You can name any VHL team in the league without having any issues inside the locker room and without having issues with any of the GM's.

(SB) 3. That would probably have to be Toronto or Helsinki, I have always wanted to go to Helsinki and have never been able to for various reasons, and I think it would be just fun in Toronto.

(DT) 4. What are your current goals for the upcoming season? Surpass a certain amount of goals, have more assists than goals or vice-versa. Help your team win a certain number of games?

(SB)  4. Well team success comes before individual success so I think our goal on Davos would be to try and over take Cologne next season. For me I would like to surpass a 90 point season for the first time I think, with my current line mates I think I can do so. Especially if we pick up a big fa this off season.

(DT) 5. This one if for the agent of Sergey, Kesler17. What do you plan on doing after the retirement of Sergey Brovalenko? Do you plan on creating a defenseman, goalie or do you go back with what you already know and make another forward?

(K) 5. Well I am planning to play Brovalenko till his contract runs out then retire, and will most likely (if convinced otherwise) will make a winger power forward.

Well there you have it guys. Sergey Brovalenko has given us some great answers and it was a real treat to have been able to interview him and get some insight on how he feels about himself. I wish him and his agent Kesler the best of luck on their current conquest in the VHL and I hope Kesler will be around for awhile and wish him the best of luck during the rest of the career of Sergey Brovalenko.

Next episode I will be interviewing another young up and coming player and as of right now I am going to keep it under wraps because I don't want to spoil the surprise but he is well known around the VHL community. His agent has been successful in his career with many of players that he has represented and his current player has been doing exceptionally well.

Did you actually interview Kesler for this or are you making answers for him?

Real interview. I used over 450 of my own words for the questions and such.

THIS IS FOR NEXT WEEK SINCE I FORGOT ABOUT FREE DOUBLES!

Content: 3/3 - Just barely enough words, but understandable since you interviewed Kesler. I think I may like Kesler. I wasn't really around for some of his stuff in the past, but it seems to me he has matured. I'm excited to see his new power forward.

Grammar: 2/2 - I only graded what you wrote since I felt it would be unfair to hold Kesler's responses against you. You had perfect grammar, nice job!

Appearance: 1/1 - Looks good.

Overall: 6/6
