:vhl:Time Winding Down:vhl:

With the chapter closing on the Season Fifty Calgary Wranglers, goaltender Ariel Weinstein’s VHL clock is quickly ticking down. After splitting time the past six seasons with Quebec, Stockholm, New York, and now Calgary, Weinstein is still searching for a Continental Cup as he is about to enter his second last training camp. With Calgary expected to make the playoffs again next season but not contend, the possibility for Weinstein to hoist a cup seems to be fading to black. After a very successful but short VHLM career that saw Weinstein take home three awards including, the Benoit Devereux Trophy for the league’s top goaltender, as well as a Skyler Rift Trophy for Playoff MVP, bigger things were expected from Weinstein. When Weinstein was drafted Third Overall by Quebec way back in the Season Forty-Five VHL Entry Draft, but the cards haven’t stacked up in Weinstein’s favor yet.
