After a 3 season love story, all good things must come to an end. Sir William Covington III and Shawn Muller were both free agents at the end of Season 51. SWC3 decided it was time to move on from the Riga Reign and ended up signing with the New York Americans. Shawn Muller on the other hand had offers from Riga, Cologne, Seattle and Quebec. It came down to Riga and Cologne to be honest. I feel bad saying this but Seattle in my opinion had no interest in me until they struck out on bigger names as they made an offer 3/4 days after free agency started and after SWC3 and Unassisted signed in New York. My sole reason to go back to Riga was because of @JardyB10 and Sandro Clegane. In Season 45, Muller and Clegane led the Moscow Red Wolves to a Founders Cup. Season 46 they didn't play together as Clegane moved up to the VHL and Muller returned to the VHLM. Season 47 they played together in Seattle until Season 49 when they were both traded to HC Davos Dynamo. In Season 51, Muller signed with Riga only after learning Sandro Clegane was traded from Davos to Riga. In only made sense to play with Jardy in his last season. Don't know where Muller will play in his last season next year as I have no reason to demand any money and will most likely just take the veterans minimum.
