Kyrie Knight, Marcus Bjorkstrand, Bennett Wahl, and Santeri Heikala are all either late round picks or waiver wire pickups who look to be steals for the Yukon Rush in their surprising playoff run. Considering Yukon had no first round picks this year, they weren't considered a contender. However, these steals plus free agent pickups in Chop Cho, Zach Fucale, and Jeevan Samuelson have all combined into a team that will be pretty formidable by years end if everyone stays active as planned. Kyrie Knight is a promising young defenseman who is Yukon's captain and has the highest tpe on Yukon out of active players. Marcus Bjorkstrand was picked up on waivers recently after seeming like a cool guy in multiple conversations with Yukon's GM. Bennet Wahl (Munk) has made a surprising return to the VHL and hopefully stays because everyone loves Munk and he likes to TYPE IN ALL CAPS. Santeri Heikala is a promising young goalie for Yukon and is their potential starting goalie for the next 2 years.
