TheLastOlympian07 2,388
This is awesome, for the next season and a half I will be able to pump two of these out and hopefully get the next two drafts done in this time. Here though, we start off with the other half of the Season 2 VHL Entry Draft. Seattle will be the next team up. Round 1, Pick 6: Right Wing Brannan Anthony Career Reg. Season: 506 GP | 316 G | 421 A | 737 P Career Playoff Stats: 28 GP | 19 G | 23 A | 42 P The Seattle Bears made a very nice choice at 6th overall with Brannan Anthony. He played in 506 games and scored 316 goals while assisting on 421 goals for 737 points. This is in the top 40 in VHL History so it is safe to say he was won of the best players for his era. He also played in just 28 playoff games but scored 19 goals and assisted on 23 goals for 42 points in just 28 games. He was apart of the biggest trade in possibly VHL History when Scotty Campbell was traded from Vasteras IK to the Seattle Bears for Mike Szatkowski and Brannan Anthony. Round 2, Pick 14: Right Wing Alec Gibouleau Career Reg. Season: 70 GP | 8 G | 16 A | 24 P Career Playoff Stats: 4 GP | 3 G | 0 A | 3 P Alec Gibouleau is a player who was from a famous player agency. He was from the agency that brought us Alec Miller, if i recall correctly. He only played in 1 season scoring 8 goals and assisting on 16 goals for 24 points. He played in a 4 game sweep and scored 3 goals for 3 points. It's pretty disappointing that he only played in 70 games. Maybe he could have turned it around if he played more than 1 season. All I know if that Seattle wasted a 2nd round pick. Round 3, Pick 22: Goaltender Alex Deslauries Career Reg. Season: 46 GP | 8 W | 30 L | 2 OTL | 0.883 SV% | 4.46 G.A.A | 0 SO | 0 A Career Playoff Stats: N/A In round 3, the Bears went for a goaltender by the name of Alex Deslauries. He was less than stellar with a record of 8-30-2 with a 0.883 save percentage and a 4.46 G.A.A in his career. He wouldn't play a game in the playoffs. Not a great pick considering the goalies who were taken after him. Round 5, Pick 38: Center Nevets Detroit Career Reg. Season: 144 GP | 27 G | 62 A | 89 P Career Playoff Stats: 11 GP | 0 G | 3 A | 3 P The Bears traded their 4th round pick to the Avangard Havoc and didn't make another pick until the 5th when they took Nevets Detroit with the 38th pick. He played 144 games scoring 27 goals and assisting on 62 goals for 89 points. He would play in 11 playoff games assisting on 3 goals for 3 points. He did end up winning a Continental Cup in Season 1 with Vasteras IK. That would be the highlight of his VHL career though. Verdict Other than striking gold with Brannan Anthony the Seattle Bears managed to strike out on the other picks. Season 2 Draft 1. Calgary Wrangers - 3/4 = 75% 2. Hamilton Canucks - 3/6 = 50% 3. Seattle Bears - 1/4 = 25% 4. Avangard Havoc - 1/5 = 20% 5. Helsinki Titans - 0/4 = 0% All Time Team Drafts: 1. Calgary Wranglers - 8/12 = 66.7% 2. Hamilton Canucks - 6/13 = 46.1% 3. Vasteras IK - 2/5 = 40.0% 4. Amstel Tigers/Avangard Havoc = 4/13 = 30.8% 5. Stockholm Thunder - 2/7 = 28.5% 6. Seattle Bears - 3/11 = 27.3% 7. Helsinki Titans - 2/11 = 18.2% 8. Toronto Legion - 1/7 = 14.3 All Time Drafts: Season 1 Draft: 20/36 = 35.7% Season 2 Draft: 8/23 = 34.8% For Gretzky Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/36393-claimed6-points-pls-part-13-12/ Share on other sites
