Since acquiring Torstein Ironside's services after he announced he would like to play in the VHL minors, he has still not played a game. The Bern Royals have gone 11 games since taking in Torstein Ironside, and as one of the lesser teams in the league, it's not like they can excuse it by saying they are riding the hot goaltender. Torstein Ironside is upset and wants to be traded. "I signed for this team quickly, because they notably wanted my services, and I just want to play. All I ask for is to play. It has been 11 games now, and I still have not seen a game between the pipes. I practice and I practice, but still no games. I can only hope that by the end of the season I will have an opportunity to show something. If you don't want me, then let me go." - TI The thing is, the Bern Royals is a for sure bottom feeder in the VHLM this season, with a record of 8-43-4. Rotating goaltenders could be a grand idea. Torstein Ironside comes from a proven player agency, and has a decent amount of practice hours since joining the league as well. There is no telling what kind of an impact this move might have made on Ironside's career. Maybe he will bust now? Who can really say?
