VHLM Leaders

The VHLM season is coming to an end. Bratislava is the team who is on top with 100 points while Yukon and Oslo battle it out for 2nd place and 3rd place. Saskatoon is the darkhorse of this race while Ottawa seems destined for 5th while Bern will finished 6th and be the sacrificial lamb in the playoffs. Let's now look at the league leaders from around the VHLM.

 

Goals

Franchise Cornerstone of the Ottawa Lynx is the leader in goal scoring this year. He was drafted 2nd overall in this past VHLM draft. He will most likely be the 1st overall pick in the VHL Entry Draft this off-season. He has 50 goals in 63 games. Daryl Dortch of Bratislava is 2nd in the league with 42 goals in 63 games. Finally Brock Dragonslayer of Oslo is 3rd with 40 goals in 64 games. These are the only 40 goal scorers of the season. Unless Dortch or Dragonslayer go on crazy goal scoring runs, Cornerstone will most likely win the top goal scorer award.

Assists

Robert Jelen is still the leader in assists for VHLM players with 65 in 55 games, however he has since been called up to the HC Davos Dynamo in a weird situation. Lukas Muller looks to over take him by the end of the year as Muller has 60 assists in 63 games while defenseman Xander Finn has 56 assists in 64 games. Looks like this will come down to the wire between Lukas Muller and Xander Finn.

Points

Franchise Cornerstone is having a season to remember with 50 goals and 54 assists for 104 points. Pretty much has the top point getter sown up as well. Rumor has it Oslo pushed hard for Cornerstone but Jardy is a dick  2nd in the VHLM is defenseman Xander Finn with 33 goals and 56 assists for 89 points. Should be a strong contender for defenseman of the year that Xander Finn. 3rd place is a surprise as Pierre Gaudette has logged 35 goals and 51 assists for 86 points.
