The leading goal scorers for the playoffs so far is a tie between Cologne's Arcturus Mengsk and Max Von Hohnzollern who have 4 goals apiece. It is expected that players from the Cologne team would be leading in the stats because they play the unlucky loser of making the playoffs between Helsinki and Davos. They are scoring at a goal per game basis with 4 goals in 4 games. Cologne still has one more game to play as they lead the series 3-1. Tired for 2nd in another Cologne player in Niels Skovgaard who led the league in assists this season. Jory Rose is tied with him with 3 goals as he has been the straw that stirs the drink in Davos this season same with Pete Stockton. Tied for 3rd with 2 goals is 6 players, Aleksi Koponen, Theo Axelsson, Tyson Kohler, Tom Lincoln, Travis Gowecny and Pavel Varushkin. 

 

Assists

Niels Skovgaard is again leading the VHL in assists with 6 this post season. The next highest is 3 players with 4 assists apiece. These players are Arcturus Mengsk, Aleksi Koponen and Robert Jelen. Then we have a glut of 5 players with 3 assists each which are Jory Rose, Theo Axelsson, Essian Ravenwing, Wesley Babiy, and Tomas Syndgaard. It is interesting to see that Skovgaard is still putting up assists despite goal scorer John Sleeman being traded to the Toronto Legion. 

 

As you can tell, the Cologne Express and HC Davos Dynamo have had a very interesting and high scoring series so far. It is most likely the end next game though while we expect the other series between the Calgary Wranglers and New York Americans go the full distance since they aren't seperated after 4 games so far in their series.
