Although Pablo is listed as a center it is possible that he switches positions prior to the draft due the chance he could be selected higher in the draft if he was a defenseman. But right now if he continues his path as a center he looks to be the prototypical pass-first playmaking center that could center any team's first line. Here are some of his pros and cons.

Pros:

Skating

In the VHL one of the most important pros a player can have is being able to skate, for a player with less than one season of training Pablo has excellent skating. He has used a good percentage of his training on skating and has shown it over the past seasons on the Ottawa Lynx as he has progressed over the season and has increased his minutes. Pablo uses his skating combined with his decently sized frame to beat his opponents defense.

Passing

One thing any good centerman needs to be able to do is to be able to dish the puck off to his wingers and allow them to score goals. Pablo has this asset in abundance, Pablo can pass the puck as well as anyone on his draft class. Last season playing on the Ottawa Lynx Pablo really worked hard on being able to pass the puck to his high leveled wingers and it worked up for him as he racked up a ton of assists on the second line and with his limited power play time.

Two-Way Game

This third pro that Pablo really exemplifies that he really is the complete package and that if he had too, he could transform into a defensemen before the draft. Pablo's two game is superb for a player as young as him, last season on the Ottawa Lynx he was tasked with being the second line shutdown center and he flourished in that position. Though not putting up huge offense numbers he was a plus and really worked on his defensive game, from playing on the penalty kill to back checking Pablo has the two-way game.
Cons:

Scoring

One of Pablo's biggest weaknesses is his ability to finish on scoring chances. His shooting and scoring could be a huge issue in the future if he does not train in this area. Last season on the Lynx Pablo had one of the worst shooting percentages in the league despite playing over twenty minutes a game and playing with some excellent players.

Faceoffs

Another huge con in Pablo's rough and unsmoothed game is the fact that hes a centerman but is weak in the dot. Playing in the VHLM Pablo has able to have some success but struggled against some of the top players in the league. Next season if Pablo wants to make the transition to the VHL as a centerman hes going to have to put in some serious work on his face-off game or else hes likely going to have to slide to the wing or simply just get dominated by veterans.

Physicality

This con may not be as notable as the other but Pablo is not a physical player by any means and this could lead to some problems. Though players have been able to have very successful careers without being physical its difficult as there are so many hitters in the VHL. Pablo may need to either learn to hit or continue playing his strengths and may need to work harder on his skating and passing ability and certainly will not be able to take hits with the size of his frame.
