Verner Excited For S54 Draft

Verner Reinholdt has been quiet ever since the Brampton Blades were eliminated in the VHLM playoffs what feels like eons ago. A lot of league drama has unfolded, we've had a new update scale applied, a repeat Continental Cup Champion and a plethora of trades that have mostly seen the Stockholm Vikings take their Game 7 loss to heart and double down if you will. VHL Season 54 looks to be another interesting one, with multiple potential narratives to be weaved. But for Verner, Season 54 represents hopefully an opportunity to join a VHL club. While his practice hours may not look as high as others who are likely to start the season up to their main club, Verner is confident that he can close the distance fast enough to be a worthy addition to whichever club drafts him.

I've been pretty excited about this draft honestly. I've never been drafted in my career, not once. I joined a CHL team as a younger free agent when I was just a kid, but as I aged obviously I never had to go through a draft. That is kind of the beauty of this league, it allows me to go through the motions regardless of age. As for who will take me? I don't really know to be honest. I hope I go in the first round, I'm confident that someone in that round will find me attractive enough. I've already talked about potential destinations that I'd like to go to, but I can say for certian that teams like Davos, Calgary and Seattle have all expressed interest. With a bunch of GM's traded out of the draft it makes things even more unpredictable. I look forward to where I go and I hope I can join the VHL for my first rookie season!
