Three Las Vegas defensemen - Diego Jokinen, Felix Savard, and Dexter Lane - and Rusty Trombone are in the top four spots for the league's assists leaderboard. Only two defensemen are allowed on the ice at one time... Did you know that the Aces' back-to-back 7-0 shutouts of Oslo home-and-away was the first time such event ever happened in VHL/VHLM history?* (no research undertaken, this statement is pure bullshit) In Quebec City's recent 8-3 shellacking of Riga, the Meute outshot the Reign 79-24, but rookie Fook Yu managed the rare feat of being the only player from Quebec to not register a shot on target, and only two shots total overall (one blocked, one missed)... HC Davos Dynamo and Calgary Wranglers both have won eight Continental Cups, but Avangard Havoc have a single Continental Cup victory, so HC Davos Dynamo are the winningest franchise in VHL history... In the Aces' recent 3-1 win against the Ottawa Lynx, Ottawa's rookie netminder Clarence Fong made history by being the only goalie so far to hold Las Vegas to under four goals...
