Aces are one win away

With 3 goals and 1 assist Slava Aleksei had the game of his young career to put the Vegas Aces on the brink of a VHLM title. Despite dominating almost the entire regular season, the Aces had a tough time cracking the Wild and their tough system, but a six to one win in game 5 seems to have made it clear which team has the momentum heading in to the decisive game six in Saskatoon. For Aleksei, it was a long time coming as he had struggled thus far in the playoffs with just 3 points in 9 games until last night, but it seems he has had his break out game, immediately putting him in to the top 15 point scorers so far in the playoffs. With his team on the brink, and his future up in the air in terms of if this will be his final VHLM season or not, if it is in fact the end of his Aces career, Aleksei is looking to go out on a high note.
