:vhlm:VHLM League Leaders:vhlm:

While we await the start of the VHL season, the VHLM has begun operations with five of the five VHLM teams playing in seven games, while Oslo is the only team with eight games played at this point. With no other games available, possibly this is a ploy by the people that are in charge of the league to get more attention to the VHLM, or the league is just fucking with us. Either way, with this lull in games at the VHL level, I’ll start off early on the VHLM league leaders.

The Saskatoon Wild knew they were getting a world class player when they drafted McAllister First Overall in the Season Fifty-Five VHLM Dispersal Draft. McAllister hasn’t disappointed since joining the Wild, posting over a goal per game in the teams seven games played this season. McAllister scoring touch has accounted for forty percent of the Wilds goals in the seven games, which is rather impressive at any point in a season. With the Wild in second place in the VHLM currently, McAllister will look to put it into another gear to help them overtake Oslo before long. The only question moving forward for McAllister as he looks to dominate the VHLM before moving on next season is, will he be able to take a Founders Cup with him when he leaves?

:osl:Assists: Nicodemus Raven (11 Assists 8 GP):osl:

After being selected in the Season Fifty-Five VHLM Dispersal Draft at Third Overall, Raven has been paying off huge for the Oslo Storm early on this season. Oslo currently hold a two point lead for first place in the VHLM and Raven and his defensive friends has been a big part of the team’s success early on, as three of the top four in the VHLM assist category as Storm defenseman. Raven is the top dog right now in Oslo and the entire VHLM with his eleven assists in the eight games the Storm have played this season, something he hopes to continue through the entire seventy-two games schedule. During his short tenure in the VHLM Raven has been labelled as a defense first kind of player, but this season he is looking to expand his game that will catapult him to the next level.

Points: Gabriel McAllister (15 Points, 7 GP) :ssk:& Xavier Laflamme (15 Points, 8 GP):osl:

The two players that are leading the league in McAllister and Laflamme just happen to be on the top two teams in the VHLM at this point of the season. Both players of course have put in the work to see the success at this point, but with Oslo and Saskatoon having amazing starts to the season, both would point to the hard work by their team-mates as the reason they lead the league right now. Both players also happen to be number one and number two in the league in goals as well, which leads me to believe that we might see McAllister or Laflamme on our league leaders list somewhere for most of the season.
