Gretz and Davos

The HC Davos Dynamo are having a pretty decent season with 28 wins and 60 total points so far. This is good enough for 3rd in the European Conference and all but assured the last playoff spot in the Euros. Davos is 31 points ahead of the Riga Reign who are in 4th with 29 points. Davos is also tied for 5th in the entire league with Calgary as they both  have 60 points. However, Davos' goal differential is substantially better than Calgary's at +40 compared to -16 for Calgary. Davos is just 18 points behind 4th place in the league which is the New York Americans who look to be on their last legs and are set to go into rebuild mode after this season. Shawn Gretzky is set to have a better season than last when he scored 32 goals and assisted on 28 goals for 60 points as a rookie. This season, Gretzky has scored 23 goals and assisted on 32 goals for 55 points in just 53 games. Gretzky looks on pace to score about 74 points this year which is a nice improvement on his rookie season. Hopefully we see bigger improvements from Gretzky in year 3 point per game in just his 2nd season is pretty good.
