TheLastOlympian07 2,388 Posted July 17, 2017 Share Posted July 17, 2017 Shawn Gretzky had a very interesting rookie season which ended up with him scoring 32 goals and assisting on 28 goals for 60 points which was pretty decent. It was more than what Shawn Muller produced in his rookie season by 5. In Season number 2, Gretzky scored 32 goals and assisted on 45 goals for 77 points which was 2 points less than what Shawn Muller scored in his second season. So the similarities are there between the two players. If it remains the same expect Gretzky to produce around 85-90 points in Season number 3. I hope he will produce more but I can't complain about 85-90 points. For his career, Gretzky has 137 points which is about 480 behind Muller in terms of production. Gretzky needs at least 80 points in his next 6 seasons to match that output and with Gretzky getting better after every season, I find that he has a shot to do even better than Muller.
