With a lot of buzz being generated around the VHL due to it's 10th anniversary and multiple people doing this type, why not. I will flashback and give you the reader a look at my past players.

:ams::oldtor:Season 1 - Shawn Howard - 173 TPE:oldsea::oldhel:

Shawn Howard was drafted in like the 4th round of the Season 1 Dispersal Draft by the Calgary Wranglers. However, instead of joining this early dynasty, I was released y the organization. I was offered a contract by them as a F.A but I took more money to sign with the Amstel Tijgers. No that is not a typo that is how it was spelled before the team moved to Avangard to become the Havoc before finally settling on HC Davos Dynamo. I bounced from Amstel to Seattle to Toronto and finally Helsinki were I was part of the Season 6 Continental Cup winning team. In 433 games, Howard scored 56 goals and assisted on 239 goals for 295 points. Not to bad for a 173 TPE player. Howard also managed to play 36 playoff games scoring 3 goals and assisting on 11 goals for 14 points. He retired with 1 Continental Cup and 1 Gold Medal.

:oldsea:Season 8 - Alexander Howard - 73 TPE:oldsea:

Alexander Howard was a player who I named after my nephew who was born not to long before the VHL was made. He was my first nephew and well I didn't really do much with him lasting like 2 seasons before retiring and going inactive. I was drafted by the Seattle Bears in Season 8 with a 2nd round pick I believe. Sorry Seattle.

:oldrig:Season 12 - Peter Pajaarvi-Svensson - 101 TPE:oldrig:

Peter Pajaarvi-Svensson was named after Peter Forsberg and Magnus Pajaarvi-Svensson. He was drafted by the Riga Reign in Season 12 and that was about it really. Again, I was inactive. I don't think he even played in the VHL.

:oldrig:Season 16 - Percy Jackson - 231 TPE:oldrig:

Riga decided to take a chance on another one of my players again with Percy Jackson and they were somewhat rewarded with a decent depth player. Percy was my best player to date at the time. He reached over 200 TPE and scored 65 goals while assisting on 142 goals for 207 points in 288 games. He played 19 playoff games scoring 2 goals and assisting on 8 goals for 10 points. I think he played his whole career in Riga.

:que:Season 31 - Steven Stamkos - 358 TPE:dav::sea:

After a long sabbatical from Season 20 until like Season 30, I came back and made Steven Stamkos who then turned out to be my best player to date with 358 TPE. Stamkos was the 2nd player ever drafted by the Quebec City Meute in Season 31. However, he was traded to Davos not to long after before finally settling in Seattle and calling it a career. In 360 games, Stamkos scored 112 goals and assisted on 173 goals for 285 points which was the most ever for a player from my agency. He actually came into the draft with like 200 TPE but after school was done and I had no internet I just kind of gave up on him.

:col:Season 38 - Dimothenis Vlasis - 327 TPE:nya:

Well school was just getting back in so I created another player this time greek defender Dimothenis Vlasis who had 327 TPE which I am positive I had 200 by draft. That also just goes to show how much I fell off after the draft. Vlasis won ROY in Season 38 though beating out a certain Don Draper who I never let forget. Also Vlasis was part of the Season 42 Continental Cup win with the New York Americans which was my 2nd cup in 42 seasons as a VHLer. Wasn't my 2nd active cup though. In 432 Games, Vlasis scored 69 goals and assisted on 212 goals for 281 points.

:sea::dav:Season 46 - Shawn Muller - 893 TPE:rig::sto:

Ahh, my pride and joy. It was nice to prove to myself and to the VHL that I can at least make one player who doesn't go inactive and gets TPE on a weekly basis. Started off in Seattle with a couple of tough seasons when the NA was crazy strong when Seattle missed the playoffs yet would have won the European Conference with the amount of points we had. Made the tough decision to leave Seattle after wanting to win an active cup since I haven't won one actively since Season 6. Was traded to Davos where we came close in Season 50 but lost in OT. Signed in Riga as a F.A where we won in Season 51 which was awesome. Good group of guys there. Attempted to break the curse in Stockholm for my last season but came up short. Overall it was a fun ride in which Muller scored 285 goals and assisted on 332 goals for 617 points. That point total has Muller roughly around 96th all time in VHL points. What I am most proud of with Muller is his 85 playoff points which has him 10th all time in VHL scoring. I don't think he is HoF material but damn a man can dream.

:dav:Season 54 - Shawn Gretzky - 417 TPE (so far):dav:

Shawn Gretzky has almost half of Muller's TPE right now and is just entering his 4th season so, maybe they end up around the same amount. However Gretzky will be a one team man unless GM Smarch thinks it is time to rebuild and sends Gretzky away for a nice package of picks. So far in 2 seasons, Gretzky has 137 points in 2 seasons.

:veg:Season 57 - Shawn Brodeur - 90 TPE (so far):veg:

Shawn Brodeur is set to hit the VHL in Season 57 and has been pretty bad in the VHLM so far this season. Hopefully he gets better in the VHLM next season and has a decent career.

So what more can I say, until the last 3 players, I haven't been that active at all usually topping out around 300 TPE. However, that has all changed as I matured. So look out as I hope to build at least 1 HoF before I am done in the VHL (even then I won't ever quit because I love this league so much)
