Arkander the Newest Addition

As the STZ Player Agency was in New York City to announce and celebrate the retirement of their latest VHL superstar, they quietly announced a signing of a goalie prospect out of Sweden. This will be their second goalie signing in a row, as they still have Rhett DeGrath under contract in Stockholm. While scouting in Stockholm they found their next recruit, a staggering goalie out of the Frolunda junior team. Ike Arkander is an American-Swedish player who has lived in Sweden his whole life. He is very raw, talent-wise, but projects to be a potential high-end draft pick, and could be a safe bet to be a VHL starter in the next 3 seasons.

 

Arkander has signed with the STZ Player Agency, and will be subject to this year's VHLM Draft. He will enter into the S57 Draft Class where he is likely to be selected in the first round of the class. There's very little known about this player, as he wasn't on any draft radar for the NHL, but the VHL might have just landed themselves a very surprising steal if Arkander is anything like the other alumni in the STZ Player Agency.
