Ko Kane is headed to the World Jr’s to play for the Americans. A team that is very talented up front but on the blue line they only have “potential” and that’s not even mentioning the horrible goaltending on the team. But that is not what this article is about. This is about Ko Kane actually agreeing to play for a hockey team. As you know it by now Ko Kane has outright refused to play in the VHLM at all. He now is about to release the names of the teams that he will not play for. Fuck him right?

 

WRONG! Ko Kane is seen as one of the futures of the USA defense and if you want him to play in the world cup you need to keep him happy. Keeping a man with a massive ego happy is a tall task. This man is hell bent to set records for refusing to play. So why didn’t he include the World Jr’s to his list of “Fuck You” ‘s? why did he actually agree to play and let scouts actually… well… scout him. You know, their jobs.

 

There are two active theories. One is quite simple and it is that he actually got bored of not playing hockey and the World Jr’s is his chance to play a few games and have a little fun crushing players and watch them cry in pain. For me this is way too simple. For a player that has a complex ego and an agent who has a ego bigger than Arri Gold the simplicity of this makes no sense.

 

So then we move onto the second theory which is that he wants to show the VHLM and the VHL teams that he will be snubbing what they are going to be missing out on. He wants to show the teams a massive middle finger by playing in the World Jr’s and crushing every player in sight. He probably is hell bent on injuring players from teams that he does not want to play for so VHL teams should be a little worried about their prospects playing against this guy.

 

He might have a chip on his shoulder a mile wide, but is he really good enough to actually help the Americans win games? Probably not because as I said before their goaltending is non-existent and plus their forwards will be getting tons of media attention because some people are even calling them the best group in the tournament. So with all that and couple it with the general distaste for his agent most people will overlook his play in the tournament. But that does not bother him at all. He doesn’t care what overall he goes in the VHL draft. He doesn’t care what people say about him or his agent. He just wants to end up somewhere he likes playing and a place where… as he puts it “Little cunt pussy babies play, because all they do is whine and that’s not fun”
