Biggie Shakur was drafted by the Toronto Legion in the 2nd round of the Season 18 VHL Entry Draft with the 9th overall pick. This pick was originally owned by the Helsinki Titans before going to New York and finally Calgary before ending up in Toronto. The Titans traded the pick with Izaak Muller to New York for Vase Trikamaki. Then in a three-way trade, the Americans traded the pick to Calgary for Pierre-Marc Tremblay (CGY), Mark Aisen (CGY) and a Season 17 Riga 2nd Round Pick (Kobe Egan), Calgary received Kristian Asgard (NYA), Season 17 Madrid 2nd Round Pick (Bryton Guerequeta) and a Season 18 Helsinki 2nd Round Pick (Biggie Shakur), Riga received Andrew Able (NYA) and a Season 18 Calgary 2nd Round Pick (Gabriel Cedarland).

As I stated, Biggie was drafted by the Legion in the Season 18 Entry Draft and just before the season started, the Legion decided to send all of their rookies to the VHLM to dominate together. It worked out to perfection as Biggie scored 69 goals and assisted on 80 goals for 149 points. The Battalion won the Prime Ministers Cup as best regular season team. The Battalion ran roughshod over the VHLM playoffs dropping just 2 games en route to winning the Founders Cup. Biggie scored 5 goals and assisted on 8 goals for 13 points in 10 games.

Season 20 was better for both Biggie and Toronto as both improved on totals with Toronto improving the most. Biggie scored 31 goals and assisted on 44 goals for 75 points. Toronto on the other hand improved to 114 points which was 33 points higher than the 2nd place Seattle Bears. Toronto would sweep the Bears before moving on to face the HC Davos Dynamo in the finals. In a classic 7 game series, the Dynamo prevailed while the Legion were sent back home to figure out what went wrong. Biggie scored 3 goals and assisted on 5 goals for 8 points in 11 games.

Biggie would have his best season to date in Season 21 with 30 goals and 57 assists for 87 points. The Legion again improved to 119 points which again led the NA Conference but just by 12 points over the Bears. In a 7 game thriller, the Legion beat the Bears after they came back hungrier than ever from their sweep 1 season ago. The Legion would play the Dynamo once more in the finals and many expected another 7 game series. To everyone's surprise the Legion would easily defeat the Dynamo in 5 games to claim the Continental Cup. Biggie scored 2 goals and assisted on 4 goals for 6 points.

The Legion went through another 7 game war in the 1st round as the Wranglers wanted to cause an upset. However, it wasn't meant to be as the Legion moved on to their 3rd straight final this time facing off against the Helsinki Titans. In 6 games, the series was over and the Titans were crowned champions.

Season 23 was a weird one for Biggie, he was traded after 5 games to the Riga Reign with a Season 24 Toronto 1st (Genghis Khan) for Kristian Carlsson and a Season 24 Seattle 2nd Round Pick (Dougie Daniels). Then near the deadline, Riga traded Biggie to the Calgary Wranglers for Gabriel Cedarland and a Season 25 Calgary 2nd Round Pick (Alvin Yu). As a whole, Biggie played 74 games, scoring 25 goals and assisting on 29 goals for 54 points his lowest total yet. In the finals, the Wranglers would play the Helsinki Titans who were looking to defend their crown in the finals. After 7 games, the Wranglers won the Cup for the first time since Season 19. After the season, Biggie announced his retirement from the VHL and went out as a champion.
