A US born RW Matthew Clyne is not a house hold name, hes not a guy who is going to turn any heads. However, his skills in the offensive zone do not go unnoticed. He is a very talented, playmaker and shooter, well hes not going to light the world on fire, his balenced attack shows. His greatest asset however must be his skating, again not the fastest skater by any strech he can beat some defenders and even forwards rather easily. 

 

After that, however his skill set drops, hes liability in his own zone, and well hes not a big boy, hes not small either yet he doesnt take advantage of this. He wont crush you with a hit, or muscule stronger players off the puck. 

 

Projected to be a late second, to third round pick. Hes a boom or bust potential, for whoever takes a flyer on this young american. He hopes to fill a role for teams in the VHL beyond this season, just how big an impact he makes will be decided on him.
