Ko Kane was part of the ROTY conversation till about the half way mark of the season... Well not anymore the monster D has slowed down and has become just another player for the team. Davos is not panicking at all because they dub him the franchise's franchise D-man. But one thing that should concern is that while Ko Kane is hitting the practice room for long hours he is not is not showing any progress on the ice. He looks to be stagnant in his play and showing zero progress forward. Is Ko Kane a bust? are Davos trusting him to do too much on the ice? Maybe the pressure is getting to the young D. It might be too early to call him a bust or not, but as of right now Ko Kane looks like a player lost and without passion which could spell big problems for Davos in the future. Even if his game picks up to where it should be, he may leave in two seasons. Which is always a possibility with Robbie Zimmers' clients.

Could he be the next Evander Kane of the NHL? The talent and ego is there, but the heart isn't?

Nah. Probably just misses his long lost connection in VVA. Kane is gonna have to come help VVA out.

If V2A is still in Seattle. Kane's contract ends in 2 more season. V2A's ends in 1

We both know V2A takes the reigns next year. Also, Kane's team won't take V2A - so no worries there. Already tried moving a goalie to em and got turned away as they have a GM goalie ;)
