Claimed: Tupac "Changes" [1/2]

Okay I am trying something new here. Much like the league with all these new “changes” so here I fucking go. In Tupac’s song Changes he says.

 

“I see no changes wake up in the morning and I ask myself
Is life worth living should I blast myself?”

 

After these league changes I am left thinking these changes mean nothing. They are putting a tissue on a on gunshot wound that is gushing blood. Not even a fucking bandaid. They think oh these new changes will help the downward spiral. I am left thinking maybe I should “blast myself” by just retiring now and fucking off.

 

“Give the crack to the kids who the hell cares

On less hungry mouth on the welfare”

 

This truly speaks about the league. They might as well be selling crack to kids because no really gives a fuck anymore. People are just going through the motions. Lots of people are on “welfare” just to not fuck teams over. I think it’s a pretty fucked situation with no return.

Sure lots of people would love to see the league go back to its hay days and be popular again. Take us back to the fun days. The days we were younger. The days when shit wasn’t so fucked. But we now sit here at the funeral of the league yet not all of us know it’s the funeral. Some of us think we can revive it. To breathe new life into it we must embrace what is truly wrong. Only then can we work to fix the league. Hell I had ideas that I talked about. Turning it into a “pay to play” league paired with a app. None of this fucking weekly TPE shit that makes people bored. Hell I had a person who would develop the app. It was the type of idea the league needed. But I moved on. I moved on with my career and developed other apps on the side. I was willing to step in with my deep pockets and help the league out. It just didn’t work out. We would have still had this forum with locker rooms and shit for the team atmosphere. But oh well… that is the past. We now sit in the shitty now.

Like I said we cannot go back in time. We cannot go back to the hay days. We cannot go back to all the good ideas that were suggested by a plethora of people that were ignored by another plethora of people. It’s simply what it is and we cannot go back. That’s just the way it is, things will never be the same. So enjoy the league while you can, while it is still is around. I for one may just be done.

Alternatively, maybe the core of people (people like myself) are simply just done or too old for this league? Needs a new core of players. Like no joke, i prefer playing games like PUBG or something else rather than spend the hour to write a PT.

 

But on the otehr hand i'll always like hanging out and chatting with people randomly while im at work, so who knows?

Review:

I think the changes did actually help, but you might be right about the bandaid. The changes will fix things for now, until we hopefully get more members. But those new members are hard to come by around here. It's hard watching places like the SHL have very successful recruitment drives while ours seem to fail to gather the same attention.
