The Ottawa Lynx have played the fewest games of any VHLM team (20, tied with Vegas) but in those games their top line left wing and defender have been meshing very well. Samuel Gate and Matt Thompson come from two of the oldest VHL agencies (Streetlight and Beketo respectively) and have thus far been proving that they’ve got a good grasp of how the game is played on a VHL I’ve surface.

”It’s been great to be on a team with all these guys but I know Sam and I have been really clicking well on the ice. If anything we’re clicking a little oddly in that I’m usually setting him up instead of the other way around but as long as he points are flowing I won’t conplain.”

Gate currently has the most points for the Lynx with 26 through 20 games. Thompson is not far behind in second with 23. The Lynx currently sit second in the league, 1 point behind the Oslo Storm with 3 games in hand.
