Saskatoon is Running Wild

The VHLM Saskatoon Wild is currently in first place of the 5 team league, with 75% of points acquired in the season. With the help of future studs, and overagers that are absolutely dominating the league - there's no doubt as to why the Wild are running wild.

With 39 wins, and a 12 game win streak, Saskatoon has absolutely nothing to complain about. With the Vilhjalmsson triplets, and the top line of Zhields, Stronk and Louth - the line is rolling on all cylinders right now.

54 games played by the team, Zhields with 102 points, Stronk with 79, Johannes V. with 57, Rockatansky with 44, and the other Vilhjalmsson pair with 43 each - there's depth throughout the board. Zhields has received many first stars in the last 11 as he shoots for multiple hat tricks, scoring incredible amounts that can only be likened to Bo Boeser in the VHL.

Robert Malenko received his first multi point game of the season recently, and has finally been scoring at a somewhat consistent level in the past 5 to 6 games. The defenseman is still seeking more ice time though, as he believes he can make an even bigger impact compared to some inactive players near his pairing.

Zhields is currently on a crazy streak, as he scores more and more goals throughout the games he plays in. A 1.87 point per 20/m average, and a whopping 37 PP points, Zhields will burst into the VHL as one of the best players to play the sport in a long time.

All in all, Saskatoon has a great chance to take it all this year - especially with the depth and goal differential they currently have.
