AM A NEW PLAYER, but most certainly bone breaker this Middletoe could learn and teach some things about how to throw some devastating hits and I think bone-breaker and I can really feed of each others knowledge and energy.

Amazing am the captaincy. Truly a great leader and personally only mildly self obsessed, I think the sheer confidence will be healthy for the locker room. Being a player who does the bare minimum when it comes to earning tpe, but still being active in the locker room, gives me the potential to maybe have more longevity and therefore impact on the team, during my reign as the all mighty holder of captaincy. This is potentially my greatest life achievement, I feel almost fulfilled. This may be the complete and only reason we win the cup this year, when we win the cup, in my very humble opinion. Which by the way you may disagree with but I am the middletoe of the ever powerful god xhekaj, so like do so at your own risk. But also yea this is a great decision for the club and organization as a whole and stuff I am ready and prepared to lead this elite team to an elite position as an elite 2nd and 4th line right winger with elite aspirations for an elite cup as an elite organization with an elite gm and elite teammates and an elite president frog, and most importantly of all a lotttt of poutine.

What a dumb question, would revolting like Torterella get me suspended? I think big hits are the biggest part of the game and a good fight keeps everybody more respectful to each other on the ice. The players need to be able to police the game when the refs fail to. Like every single penalty they have given me this year. THOSE REALLY HEAT ME UP, get me going make me and the team take that next step and find that next level. We may not go undefeated in the regular season, but that is what will carry us through the playoffs AND BRING THE CUP TO HALIFAX.

What a speech!

Who says a captain needs to be humble?  Our captain is too ELITE to sell himself short!  We don’t need a leader who waits for the game to come to them, our leader straight up CRUSHES the opposition and imposes his will on all of our weak willed opponents.  And the best part is he’s only “mildly self obsessed”!  How can you lead a team you love if you don’t love yourself first and foremost? This is a REAL captain and I’m here for it

1. Considering I am extremely new to the team, I am not so sure yet. Though I suppose making friends and getting to play with someone called BoneBreaker seems like quite the thrill!

 

2. I don't know. I hear they almost accidentally gave it away to a frog. Controversy is not a good start to Captaincy!

 

3. Finish top 5 in scoring on the team. I think that would be a fairly successful rookie season!

 

4. Primary points. As an offensively minded player, points are the best judge of how you are doing- and primary points are even more so a good representation of such.

 

5. I'm not sure? Maybe Privateers? Apparently during the war of 1812, Halifax was an important trading hub for Privateers. And it still fits the BOAT GANG catch phrase.

 

6. I only think they should remove fighting in the times when the other team has better and/or more face punchers and hit givers. If we have the better or larger amount of face punchers and hit givers, then it should stay in the game.

1. Its hard to choose just one, but I'm really excited to see how Chad Powers continues to develop. He has been doing good so far considering he is a First Gen. But he has been working hard and has really started growing in OVR. I look forward to seeing how he does this season.

 

2. I was honestly surprised I was chosen as an Alternate/Assistant Captain. I am extremely honored to carry the A and will wear it proudly. I think the other two captains picked will do a great job as well. They are very vocal and good guys in the locker room.

 

3. My goal for this season is to keep improving and try and help my team win. I'd love to be in the Top 10 for Assists in the league and if lucky maybe points, but time will tell how that goes.

 

4. I think Assists is the most important for me right now. Just making sure I'm setting up my teammates and creating scoring opportunities. +/- Is also something I need to get up. I don't want to be a detriment to my team and allow too many goals when I'm on the ice.

 

5. Maybe the Halifax Helmsmen. I like the nautical theme for Halifax since its known as a port city. It would be cool to play into it a bit more.

 

6. Fighting is a critical aspect of Hockey and I don't think it should go away. You need to be able to stand up for your teammates and make sure guys won't continue to mess with them. Hitting is all apart of the game and sometimes a big hit on a star guy calls for someone to step in and challenge the hitter.

The staff made it clear that we are betting on the future so this would be a development season even if we still hope on battling for the playoffs. Do you feel we can turn it around and still fight for a playoff spot?

 

2. What do you think is our greatest strength and biggest weakness?

 

3. As of now we have 110PM total for the team in 10 games which averages 11minutes of PK per game. Are we taking too many penalties?

 

4. How many goals and/or points are you hoping on getting this season?

 

5. The team's taking a trip to another country, where would be a good destination?

 

6. What NHL team is deceiving you the most this season?

1. Tough to say, but I still believe that we can do it. everyone is earning their tpe and it is still early so we can get better as the season progresses. 

2. I feel like our goaltending is out greatest strength. We have a great goalie with Jon Webber III and a another quickly developing backup in Chad Powers. Our greatest weakness may be our forwards or offensive since it seems that we still have a few low tpe fowards. 

3. I want to say yes, but at the same time I feel like that is talking Petr our of a job lol. But yeah too many penalties which leads to enough chances to score. 

4. I'll take none if it means I can help the team better blocking shots and breaking up plays with hits. 

5.  I'll follow where the team goes! go with the flow!

6. Colorado and Edmonton. Just overall bad starts to the season for two teams that are known as cup contenders.

1. The season is still young and we're playing a game of bounces right now, we just aren't capitalizing on those bounces. There's still plenty of time to turn the ship around.

2. We have deep lines but need to create some chemistry and we need to finish checks.

3. A little rust at the start of the year can contribute to our penalty minutes. As we keep settling in, that should go away.

4. Im hoping to crack double digits in some stat column, and not in PIM.

5. Why not be the first sports team to play a game on Antarctica? In all seriousness, Halifax is a stones throw across the Atlantic from Europe. Global Series in Scandinavia, Finland or Germany would grow the game and franchise reach. 

6. The Avs. Ive followed them since '96 and haven't seen so many "WHO?!" players on a team since 2012.

 2. our weakness right now is out lack of scoring. we need to start filling the net more. our strengths is prob our goaltending.

1. I think there's always a chance of turning things around.

 

2. I think we're getting really good goaltending overall, but we need to exercise some disciple when it comes to taking penalties.

 

3. Way too many penalties. Need to cut it in half, at minimum.

 

4. I'm hoping for somewhere around a third to a half a point per game. Not too many more goals, as I'm not exactly built for that, but some more points overall.

 

5. Iceland could be interesting as a place for a hockey game.

 

6. The Oilers. I don't believe that they're actually near the bottom of the league bad.

1. Well as of writing this we've gotten up to .500 at least, so we're already seeing improvements. I think a playoff spot is just out of reach, but as long as improvement is seen throughout the year, its a successful season!

2. Our strength definitely is the locker room. Its very active, friendly, welcoming and engaging! Well our most recent weakness appears to be counting, but overall I definitely think it's discipline. Too many penalties!

3. We are, but as someone who both plays on the PK occasionally, and only has 4 PIM on the year- I don't mind the extra ice time.

4. Well right now I'm on a .5 point per game pace (about) and I think that continuing wouldn't be too bad. So 18 goals, and 18 assists for a total of 36 points.

5. Well, since we are all about BOATS... I'd have to go with Italy, specifically Venice. Lots of boating to be done- and some pretty good food and culture to boot!

6. Unfortunately, my Leafs. Some days, they look like gods. Others they look like ECHL players. And unfortunately, it looks more like the latter than the former. But, they play well when no-one expects them to, so its always a damn coin flip.

2. Even after losing a high TPE player like Boris Bone-Breaker, our defense has been holding up pretty good. A shoutout to Cysteine @Bea who is tied in 2nd in the VHLM for blocked shots. What aspect of our defense do you think we would need to improve?

1. I think he's doing well and progrssing a bit better, but I need to quickly boost DF as much as possible. He's got a really good shot which makes for a good PP1 QB, but he can't use it 5 on 5 if he can't help get the puck out of his own end.

 

2. We all need to to continue to improve DF as much as possible. We spend way too much time in our own end, our goaltenders face too many shots, and we don't get enough time in the offensive zone, which hurts our forwards.

 

3. I'd tap @SMYLS4 to help me show the team what a proper cheesesteak is like.

 

4. I would go with red and black. Red is very common on ships and red and black make some really clean looking jerseys if you use black as the dominant color.

 

5. Miracle, easily. Incredibly well done and very well put together.

 

6. I don't really play video games much anymore, but when I did, I was mostly big on NHL especially GM mode collabs with my brother or with @SMYLS4 which we're working on right now, so I guess you could say I still play NHL games a bit.

1. I think given the rough stretch of games and my stint on the first line, I've been happy with how my player is performing.

2. I think our defense is good, we no longer take a lot of penalties, which is definitely helping us keep games closer. I think everyone increasing their defense as a whole will help the team in the long run.

3. If I were to do a team meal it would have to be something easier enough to do for a large group of people. So id probably just do my family's sauce with pasta, meatballs, sausage, and braciola. 

4. Being nautical themed I don't see how you could stray away from the blue and white. Maybe different shades of blue or like a purple or orange I guess.

5. My favorite sport movie has to be Major League. Its just too funny.

6. Yes I do. Recently I've been playing NHL and Black Ops 6 for the Zombies.

1. I'm happy with how Petr is doing. He is slowly getting used to playing with new linemates. 

2. No clue, since I am apart of the defense. 

3. Petr doesn't cook, he only eats. 

4.Why change it? Nothing is better then the OG. 

5. I would say Goon or Slapshot. 

6.War thunder for blowing things up and Henry Stickman Collection for laughs.

1. my player has only played two games in the season so I cant really judge him yet.

 

2. our team as a whole needs more tpe in defensive coverage.

 

3. i would make poutine for the team.

 

4. red, white, and black would mesh together well in my opinion.

 

5. the 2011 film goon is a pretty good movie.

 

6. i have been putting a couple of hours into black ops 3, spiderman, and nhl 25.

1: With my production... It's been below average. 7 points... Felt like my team player has been middling.

 

2: Poke checks. I've been told that by our GM lol.

 

3: Oh joyness! Um... Adobe Chicken, fried chicken/tenders, mashed potatoes, roasted peppers and carrots... A lot of things. I love cooking!

 

4: I got zero input for that. I love the colors already!
