Tape-to-Tape 298
Well, what can I say about Jorgon Weyed. A player who has demolished his competition and went up the ranking for the Las Vegas Aces. He has moved up from 4th line to the first line because of how quick he's been earning TPE and showing dedication for his teammates. He was scouted by Vegas to be a tough player with a mind for protecting his linemates. A rare type of talent that we have seen have success this season. No doubt about it that he'll be an up coming star and up in the rankings for the draft if he keeps up his fast pace. I am pleased to be playing on his team and growing with such a enthusiastic player. There is so much that I can say about this guys work ethic to want to always stay on top. This kind of playing style will make him a top competitor for the next generation of VHL players who want to show that they have something to prove. Weyed has played 10 less games than his team mates but has passed former first line right winger Jessy Thomas. With only 7 points his 49 games Thomas has underperformed but still has strong abilities and can climb the ranks in Vegas once again. Weyed improved his value and moved from line number 4 to line number 1. Weyed's 4 goals and 7 assists are respectable but as we stated before his sights are not set on being an offensive threat. Weyed has not seen a bulk of ice time before his promotion to the top line and has gathered 49 hits. Looking onto the draft Jorgon Weyed is the 5th ranked right winger very closely behind Kisshan Shan. Since his debut in the minor league he has passed several players and has caught the eye of the professional scouts around the pro league. Weyed could be selected in the second round but is more likely to see his name called in round number 3. With the pace he has been on since joining we would not be surprised to see Weyed be selected in the second round even if his position ranking does not say so. The Las Vegas Aces are nearing the playoffs and are a strong selection for winning it all. If Weyed can help the top line of Julian Borwinn and Oleskiy Revchenko produce at an even higher pace this will not only help the Vegas club but will also help his chances at an early draft selection. The defining points of Weyed's hockey style are dedication and a mind for protecting his team mates. He will willing to go into the corners and dig for the puck and be unselfish and pass the puck to his line mates. A player of his style is what championship teams need to see success. Leadership comes from within and Weyed has what it takes. It should be an exciting remainder of the season for Weyed and his Las Vegas Aces team mates. Everyone across the league will be keeping a close eye. Go Vegas Go!
