I like the filter effect being used, gives it a comic book look and feel to it. Nice. The colors are all decent in contrast and you have a nice subtle use.of saturation. Nice blend. The idea of the large font layered between the player and the back drop is a good idea but you may have to guess what his last name is. The colors are enough of the same but also contrast from the background. Your smaller font style is plain but works but a little too dark and doesn't pop enough for me.
