Peace 1,531
OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- Rylan Peace could be seen sitting at his stall, disbelief stretched across his stressed face, and his depressing disappointment in himself posted onto social media. We took to Twitter to see what the right winger had to say, who finished the postseason with no goals and a single assists, on top of a worrisome -3 plus/minus: ‘I want to apologize to the city of Halifax, I wish I could have done more, but clearly I wasn’t good enough.’ tweets the recently signed Halifax player, a player who went from the third line to playing on the top line with Halifax’s greatest offensive weapons. “Yeah,” Peace begun in a phone conversation. “When the game ended I felt like we were robbed, I felt like I didn’t do enough for my teammates and - I dunno - I just wish I could have done more on the ice. Flippie did well, he should have been on the top line instead of me, but I appreciate the opportunity to play with KVM and MacKinnon. I appreciate the chance to play with all my team mates.” Peace said. The young hockey player will get over the disappointment. We asked if he was hungry for another now that he’s had a taste of the VHLM’s best meal. “Absolutely,” Peace stated. “With the draft coming up my goal is to make an opening day roster, that’d be really nice, but if I get sent back down to the minors there’s no harm done - if that happens I’m absolutely hungry for another shot at it.” Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/53676-hungry-for-more/ Share on other sites
McWolf 3,115
This was a great series. Pretty much like it was the case in our semi-finals, I'm not surprised we won, just surprised we won in so few games. Good luck in the upcoming season, man! I hope you get another shot at a Founder's Cup! Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/53676-hungry-for-more/#findComment-554397 Share on other sites

There's no guarantee he gets drafted to Hali. In fact, I'd say it's more likely than not, he gets drafted to Yukon (which would also be the best chance at a cup next year, since they stacked up their picks). All depends on where I land in the VHL entry draft I suppose, but it’s a high probability I’ll play a second season in the VHLM if the team that ends up drafting me sends me back down. After that, it depends on which VHLM team drafts me. Lol Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/53676-hungry-for-more/#findComment-554831 Share on other sites

You end up with more TPE, career wise. You should end up in both drafts and will likely play for the VHLM team (but the VHL team will still have your rights).
