Exlaxchronicles 415
================================ [ A Peek Into The Bears Season Start ] ================================ This year marks a re - tooling of the club during this past off season, with some new members replacing players leaving during trades and his UFA. Notables joining the fold are veterans McAllister, Axelsson and Kiaskov. We all know what to expect from these three names. Future HOF McAllister is a skilled two way offensive threat wherever they place him on the line. Otto Axelsson is a solid veteran player who is capable of playing top minutes or can be used in a role playing position. Kiaskov is a steady offensive threat bringing a solid two way game, and now that he's moved back to defence he brings that ability to the blue line. Along for the ride are young player's like Thompson, Smirnov, Kovalev, Davis, Malenko and Thunder Foot. They bring a youthful exuberance to the team, and also if its any indication from last year we can expect another season of their high offensive output. They're a talented young squad that will only improve as they mature. GM Banackock having added the three veterans, should help the youngster's along with their game and maturity level. From what we've seen these first few games everything seems to be going smoothly. Its still young in the season for the club but we should expect Seattle to continue on their ways as they have done so these first few games. Having that steady veteran presence on the forward and blue line with the three should help the youth on this talented club. ======= [ Offense ] ======= On paper this team is scary offensively. The young core were dangerous on the ice last year, and now having added the offensive veteran presence of McAllister, Axelsson and Kiaskov this club should soar to greater heights. You can expect both lines to be productive on the scoring sheet as this team has a strong one - two scoring punch. Also, don't forget the blue line has the capability to add to the offense as well. Kovalchuk is dangerous as any on the line proving that last year with 117 points. Malenko was a point per gamer last year, and if Kiaskov can bring his offence to the back end that's three high scoring defence men. And eventually Thunder Foot will be coming into his own as well. If Seattle doesn't hit 300 goals against the opposition this year something's wrong. They've already scored 18 goals in three games, so that should tell you what they're capable of as a club. ======== [ Defence ] ======== The Bears have only allowed five. goals against in their first three games. Only Toronto has less with four. Roger Sterling has played superbly this far with a 0.923 SV %. and 1.67 GAVG. He's even earned a shutout this early in the season. With the steady presence of Seattle's four blue liners and stellar team play of the forwards, and especially on special team's if this club continues its ways they should be a top three team and definitely a leading cup contender. SlapshotWrangler 864
Review: This is a great Media Spot, the stats are great and the organization is awesome. This MS seems very professional and it looks awesome. The points and reasons are very convincing and only 5 goals against is pretty cool. Congrats on the 18 goals in 3 games. The fact the subtitles are not centered kinda bother me but it isn't too big of a deal.
