While you wouldn’t know it from his typical demeanor, Jagger Philliefan was worth his 11th overall draft pedigree. While he treated his draft day like any other day of the year, all of his friends and family were eagerly anticipating the 8:00 PM EST start time. The young defenseman - now a draftee of the Quebec City Meute - may not speak a lick of French, but he is certainly looking forward to his time with his parent club. However, the 16-year-old is well aware of what is best for his development and plans to stay in the VHLM for at least another year, a position that must be pleasing to the Oslo Storm, the team who just traded multiple high draft picks to secure his services. (A fact about the picks given up by Oslo in the trade that many found impressive was their evident greater worth than the pick that was used to take Philliefan just one draft year prior)....
