Biography of Raphael Nazarians

Early Life

Raphael Nazarians was born in the beautiful country of Armenia.  Raphael's family lived in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan.  Raphael's family has a history in hockey, his dad playing for the Armenian National Hockey Team and the Russian National Hockey Team.  Raphael's father also was in the Winter Olympics playing for the Russian National Team.  Raphael was born into a family of 3, 2 girls and 1 boy, Raphael.  Raphael's mother was an incredible athlete also, she played for the Armenian National Basketball Team.  Raphael started playing hockey when he was only 3 years old.  He loved the game and dominated the game his father Razmik was the coach of the Youth Armenian Hockey Team and teached Raphael how to play and how to increase his talent and hot to be a better leader, play maker, and scorer.  His father and mother valued leadership and selflessness over anything else.  

 

Moving to United States

When Raphael was only 10 him and his family moved to the United States to pursue a better career and to get better schooling for their kids.  Raphael and his family moved to Pasadena, CA.  Raphael's mom lived in Pasadena for 5 years before moving back to Armenia and marrying Raphael's father.  Raphael parents wanted hi to go to a private school but he chose to go to a public school because he disliked spoiled people and wanted to be a normal kid.  Raphael was the leader of the Pasadena Lions and was their best player.  The Pasadena Lions were coached by Raphael's dad, Razmik his dad led the Lions to their first title in 10 years.  His father later got a better job as a VHLM head coach but struggled to win many games and was fired in 2 years.  It took many years for Raphael to learn English and get used to the United States.

 

High School Life

Raphael graduated from middle school as the top of his class and was an honor roll student.  In high school Raphael took a year off of hockey to focus on his grades and to be a better student.  After his freshman year his dad pushed him to be more involved in hockey and training more and becoming a better athlete.  Raphael was in the gym everyday during the summer and worked on his skating and scoring.  Raphael lost weight and worked with his father 24/7 during the summer.  During his Junior year, the Pasadena Lions made state and were the best team in the Nation led by Raphael.  Raphael Nazarians won the National HHS award.  Making him the best player in the country.  During his senior year Raphael got even better and proved why he could be the best center ever.  His dad and Raphael worked and worked harder harder every year.  During his senior year, Raphael spent more time on school and doing homework.  Raphael brought all his grades up to A's and became smarter and studied more.  

 

College Life

After Raphael graduated from high school, he got a scholarship to play for the San Diego State Aztecs, one of the best hockey college.  Raphael moved into a apartment near San Diego State University.  Raphael wanted to become an accountant if he didn't become a VHL or VHLM player.  During his freshman year in college Raphael mostly worked on his school work.  Raphael joined the hockey team and showed the university that he can become the starting center for the university.  After a couple of games, Raphael became the starting center and became an amazing player for the Aztecs.  Many people doubted Raphael since he is a quite player and didn't like to trash talk and is a very quite player.  His father, Razmik still worked with Raphael to increase his skill in hockey.  Raphael mostly worked on his scoring and his skating.  Raphael worked hard everyday during the off season and proved that he is a great player with an amazing work ethic.  During his sophomore year Raphael increased his school work and worked more on his hockey game.  His father and mother wanted him to get better game and to focus more on his school work.  

 

After College Life

After Raphael Nazarians finished college Raphael went on to play for the Russian National Hockey Team.  Raphael played amazing for for the Russian National team starting at center Raphael was an elite scorer and skater.  Raphael went on to win many awards for the Russian National Team, The Russian team won the European championship and won the European Most Valuable Player and went on to win 2 more championships.  After 4 years playing for the Russian National Team, Raphael took half a year rest then came back to play for the Armenian National Team.  Raphael Nazarians then declared for the VHLM draft.  During the drafting process, it had been reported that the Saskatoon Wild had been scouting him during his years playing for the Russian National Team and the Armenian National Team.  It had also been reported that the reason Raphael took a break from playing hockey was that his father, Razmik was very ill and was unfortunately on his death bed.  After 1 and half years of being ill, Razmik, Raphael's father passed away.  Razmik meant everything to Raphael, he teached Raphael how to play, how to be a leader, how to score, skate.  Raphael's father was the coach of Raphael and they practiced together every single game and every summer.  His mother broke the news to Raphael on the very last days of the off season.  After that moment Raphael went back to him hometown and stayed with his mom.  After a year and a half, Raphael went back to playing hockey this time for Armenian so he could be closer to his mom.  Raphael then went on to get drafted by the Saskatoon Wild.

That was literally the old MS Rubric too, it wasn’t even the bio one haha
