Corco 1,176 Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 While the smoke surrounding the beginning of the Season 35 VHL campaign is just now clearing, the sparks of a new rivalry may be starting in the VHL European conference. Both the Vasteras Iron Eagles and HC Davos Dynamo are primed to fight it out for the final playoff spot in the conference (the first two being locks between Helsinki and Cologne). Both teams have their goaltenders of the present and future in net, and both are neck and neck in terms of skill, although Davos' Moher is one season younger than Vasteras' Bagelface. Also, both teams have franchise forwards playing on the top lines, with Landry, Gallo, and Stark for Davos and Leitner, Janssen, and Kylrad for Vasteras. As of right right, you could predict either team to make the playoffs as the final seed in the European conference and you wouldn't be wrong. This is going to be an interesting season.
