aleks 40
Name: Ludvig Sederström Age: 17 Birthplace: Örnsköldsvik, Sweden Height: 6'5" Weight: 165 Lbs Position: Center Shoots: Right "Ludvig Sederstrom is the Playmaker of the Sederstrom twins. He has great vision of the ice, and seems to finish passes that others cannot see. Despite not having the greatest physical play, he more than makes up for it with fluid skating and stickhandling. All in all, L. Sederstrom is a cerebral point-producing centre with cunning efficiency, who can score and distribute with equal proficiency." -Thomas Gradin, February 2019 "Strengths Skating: Isn't incredibly explosive as his first-step quickness isn't anything to write home about, but he is able to gain separation after a few strides... Big part of his game as he uses this skating ability to get away from physical defenders... Ability to make quick turns makes him hard to pin down... Puckhandling: Is able to chain multiple quick dekes in unison... Uses this to create pressure in the offensive zone... Definitely one of his strongest traits... A staple of his game Passing: He's able to find open ice and create space for his teammates and himself to work with... Finds passing lanes that others cannot see... Incredibly dangerous saucer pass... Utilizes slap pass often... " Is overall an offensive dynamo and a catalyst for plays in the offensive zone. Can effectively run a powerplay, and commonly takes his place behind the net for good vision of the ice. Will be most effective with 1 or 2 finishers placed on his line. -Future Considerations "Weaknesses Checking: You wont see L. Sederstrom get into puck battles too often in the corners, nor will you see him jumping headfirst into a 4-man scrum. This isn't something that needs to improve on his end, rather, he should be featured with at least one player who's willing to pick up those opportunities and dish them out to Ludvig. Strength: Obvious to most, L. Sederstrom's lankiness means that he isn't the strongest when it comes to absorbing hits or pushing players off the puck. For the most part, hes resistant to defending players trying to impart some physicality due to his good skating and stickhandling, but it wont fly for long in the bigger leagues. Defense: It'll be interesting to see if L. Sederstrom can improve on his defensive game to round out his play. Prone to leaving lanes open on occasion. Not incredibly sound defensively. Needs to work on the nuetral to offensive zone transition, and needs to make the most out of breakout passes. " -Markus Sakellerapolous, vhltonight.com Closing Thoughts Ludvig Sederstrom has virtually no weaknesses in the offensive zone, he's an awfully shifty player who uses his passes to gain momentum and create high danger plays. His quickness allows him to take the opposing defense out of the picture, as his skating has only improved since being signed by the Houston Bulls. Despite his lankiness, it's not his physical attributes that keep you wondering, its the way he sees the game. Sederstrom doesn't make the right play, he makes the better play. He's listed as a center, so it may take a season or two of adjusting to the general physical play that comes with playing center, however, it wouldn't be wise to lose the shifty skating and speed in the name of adding "VHL level" weight. rjfryman 1,120
Review: Really enjoyed the beginning and closing thoughts when it comes to a rookie profile. You let other people give life to this through quotes and a smooth outro. Enjoyed the fact you gave gifs in his strengths and was brutally honest with his weaknesses. The ability to interview quotes and just overview of skills makes this one of the better ones I have read today. Thanks for that.
