Madden Makes the Switch to Center

HC Davos Dynamo forward, John Madden, has plans to become a center this season. He was recently seen down at the practice facility, working on is faceoffs, as well as his defensive game, both of which were notably weak in the VHLM. Even after Davos acquired Peace, it become apparent to them that they would need a second line center. They had initially planned on tanking to get Carles Puigdemont, but after they lost the draft lottery, this was not an option.

Davos management aren’t sure if McDavid has what it takes to fill the role long term, so they turned to Madden who jumped forward at the opportunity to help his team. Davos GM, Shawn Glade still has plans to start the season with McDavid at center until Madden is able to make the full transition, but Madden believes that he is already as good a center as McDavid. However, it is likely he won’t play until about one quarter of the way into the season, or even longer if McDavid can prove himself as a diligent center on Davos’ newly dubbed rookie line, which will consist of Madden, McDavid and Katie Warren.

ik haha was gonna mention that but wasn't really relevant to the rest of my article, pretty funny that our whole forward core is three rookies and three sophs
