oilmandan 688
Scoring could be on it's way down this next season, with all the new and improving talent that continues to reach the VHL. Gone are the days where teams scrambled to find someone to tend goal for every team in the VHL. The recent glut of recent newcomers into the league, as well as a growing number of prospects percolating in the VHLM, has raised the stakes and could be dropping the goals too. Even with the retirements of longtime veterans such as Norris Stopko and Shawn Brodeur, new players like Alexander Pepper, Brick Wahl, Kallis Kriketers made immediate impacts with their clubs. Not to say that the offensive talent isnt coming as well, but with more and more focus going into defensive systems and analytics, we find ourselves looking to where the goals may come from. Could we be in or entering the age of the goalie in the VHL?
